2. What type of data do we collect and what do we do with them?
Direct collection
As a visitor to the site, there is no need to provide any personal data to use the website of INDUMEL Embalagens. The personal data of the users are collected only when subscribing to any of the available functionalities required for INDUMEL Embalagens to provide the requested information or clarification or to allow you to access Papers, Newsletters, Articles, Campaigns, etc. In addition, INDUMEL Embalagens may contact the user to present INDUMEL´S Offer, sending of proposals and meetings.

The communication of your personal data does not constitute a legal or contractual obligation or requirement to enter into a contract, except in cases in which the candidate of the holder of the data has been selected by INDUMEL Embalagens to enter an employment or work stage contract. In the aforementioned cases, the following personal information will be required.
b. Indirect data collection
INDUMEL Embalagens, through Google Analytics, also collects the following added data – Geographical origin (city, country), language, type of device, operating system, browser, operator, age, gender, date and time of access and reference data addresses, IP address.
INDUMEL Embalagens will monitor all statistical information regarding the use of the site in an aggregated and anonymous way. The data used for this purpose does not contain personal identification data or private information.
The analyzes made from aggregated statistical information will be used to interpret site usage patterns and continuously improve service levels and user satisfaction. The aggregate statistical information resulting from the analyzes may be disclosed to third parties or publicly.

3. What do we do with your data (purposes and legal basis)?:
When resumes are sent to us, we will consider them for recruitment processes, and the data will be sent to Human Resources for its analysis, processing, and possible selection.
INDUMEL collects your contact information in order to provide the requested information or clarification or to allow access to Papers, Newsletters, Articles, etc., as defined in point a. Direct collection.
INDUMEL may, if the owner of the data so authorizes, use the provided contact data for Marketing campaigns or to send communications regarding our service offer or our Partners. In these situations, the user will always be given the possibility to oppose the sending of subsequent communications for direct marketing purposes by selecting the corresponding field or sending an email to geral@indumel.pt.
Legal basis:
- Forms: Sending requested information and providing case studies, articles and newsletters, etc. – Basis: User consent.
- Contact via email: Response to the information requested by the user. Basis: User Consent.
- Spontaneous application/response to job posting: Selection and Recruitment Basis: User consent in cases of spontaneous candidacy; in cases where an employment or internship contract is concluded; the basis refers to the execution of the contract.
- Google Analytics: website optimization: Basis: INDUMEL´S legitimate interests
- web beacons and Facebook and Linkedin pixel conversion: measuring the effectiveness of communication in social networks; Basis INDUMEL´S legitimate interests.
In the cases in which the basis for the processing of personal data the owner of the data, may request from INDUMEL the conducted analysis as long as they refer to the interests, rights and freedoms of the holders.
4. Data recipients
The Human Resources of INDUMEL will be the recipients of the data when candidates submit their resume.
The Commercial Department will be the recipient of data for proposal purposes.
For all other cases, the Marketing Department or the legal service will be the recipients (shall the holders decide to exercise their rights).
5. For how long and where do we store your data?
INDUMEL Embalagens Portugal shall keep and maintain the data until: the user indicates otherwise; when it is no longer allowed by law; or when INDUMEL no longer has a valid basis for the treatment of your data, whichever occurs first.
6. Data disclosure
INDUMEL Embalagens does not disclose personal collected data, except when required by law or by the competent authorities.
7. Transfers to third countries
There are no transfers of data to third countries.
8. What measures have we implemented to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration or destruction?
INDUMEL Embalagens takes the necessary and legally required precautions to ensure the protection of the information collected from its users via INDUMEL Embalagens website. These precautions guarantee the offline security of this information.
Among others, the following technical and organizational measures are implemented to guarantee the security and confidentiality of personal data – physical security (through access control), logical separation of registers, access passwords and access levels, firewalls and antivirus programs. Right of access – to know whether INDUMEL has your data and if so, have the right to access them.

Right to erase the data – deletion of your personal data if they are no longer necessary for the purpose that was communicated to you; your consent will be withdrawn; if the data have been treated unlawfully and if the owner opposes the processing of their data and if there are no prevailing interests of INDUMEL Embalagens.
Right to limit the treatment: in this case, INDUMEL Embalagens can only store the data. It is applicable if the holder disputes the accuracy of his data; If the processing is unlawful, but the holder is opposed to deletion and if the INDUMEL no longer needs the data but are required by the holder for declaration purposes, exercise or defense of a right in a judicial process.
Right of Portability – the holder may wish to receive their data from INDUMEL Embalagens in a structured, current and automatic reading format. This right is applicable when the collected data was performed on the basis of their consent or in the execution of a contract with INDUMEL Embalagens and the data is being processed by automated means.
